Question : 如何上Oracle ERP Patch...?
前陣子請教了我們家的超強 DBA ...
請問他 平常都怎麼上Patch的 ..？
因為平常接觸不到這塊，所以感覺好像很難的樣子
聽他一解說後 發現沒有我想像的這麼難ㄟ
DBA 說：
1. 上Metalink Download你要上的Patch後
2. 將Patch解壓縮到Server上 一個固定放Patch 的目錄（這樣以後你就知道友沒有上過這個patch了）
3. 到該目錄中執行 "ADPatch"指令
4. Ask your Log Name (ex. PatchName.log)
5. Ask your Program 要裝那一隻程式(ex. *.drv)
6.Ask Path 在哪？(ex. 照上步驟的話，應該是在本路徑下)
ps. ADPatch是Oracle 上Patch時用的script，他會自動安裝Patch，一點都不需要我們操心、他會自己把檔案送到哪？其實我們也不會知道的
Question : 是不是每次上ERP Patch.都需要Shutdown DB..?
不一定，如果需要Shutdown,他自己會把Concurrent 給停掉...

HR New Job API => hr_job_api.create_job
一般Job 資料中是存放 HR Department資訊
※需先於 HR Segment Flexfield : Job Flexfield 中設定的Value Set中新增要轉入的JOB Value
才有辦法使用API 寫入 PER_JOBS 、PER_JOB_definitions 中

Responsibility Duplicate問題解法:
Datafix
1. Please apply Patch 4719658 ONE OFF PATCH
2. Review the README for pre-requisite patches.
3. backup & delete dulplcate wf_local_user_roles
4. run the "WorkFlow directory Service user/role validation" request:
4.1-if the request gives a warning just ignore it
4.2-In the parameter form, select Yes for all mandatory fields.
p_BatchSize = null
Fix dangling user/roles = Yes
Add missing user/role assignments = Yes
PS.也可以試看看先不要上patch,直接做step 3,4 看是否可以fix ?

常常有User反應：
1.為什麼我按了Export 沒有反應？
2.我按了Export 檔案存去哪了？=>其實是同上一個問題，因為沒有反應…所以它根本沒問你要存在哪裡呀！！
解決方式：
查看一下你的IE設定吧（方式如下）：

今天發生了一個Report Issue
在Report Client Runtime試Run是正常的
但掛到ERP後～～
會出現下面的錯誤訊息
REP-1212 Error: Object <object_name> is not fully enclosed by its enclosing object 'body'. 
上Metalink查詢後...
發現橫印的Rows Number必需為 65 or 66(如下內容)

雖然按照下面步驟執行一遍...
發現一樣有錯誤
後來發現一件事情
我的Report Header中的帳本名稱 與Print Date欄位重疊...
我調整了一下讓他們不要重疊後
就可以了...

Problem
--------------
A report runs fine from the command line; but when you run it from the
concurrent manager, you receive the following error:
REP-1212: Object <object_name> is not fully enclosed by its enclosing object 'body'
Solution
---------------
To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:
a. From the System Administrator responsibility, Navigate to the printer driver style form: /Navigate Install Printer Style.
b. Query up Landscape and change the rows fields to 65 (66); Commit.
c. Query up Landwide and change the rows fields to 65 (66); Commit.
d. Log onto the Application Developer responsibility.
e. /Navigate Concurrent Program.
f. Query up <report with error, ex RAXINV>. (as the short name).
g. Change a Name value to itself; Commit.
Note: You should go into System Administrator responsibility to ensure the printer style was changed to 65.
If you are running FSG reports, change the style to Landwide.
